Stories of Hope

Real journeys, real change.

Over the years I've had the privilege of supporting hundreds of people move from surviving to thriving.

To protect confidentiality, these stories are inspired by many different clients.

They are not one individual. Each represents the kind of journey I've been honoured to witness.

01

The Angry Little Warrior

A young child came to see me because they were having angry outbursts at home and school. Underneath that anger was something very different — fear, anxiety and a nervous system that never really felt safe.

A young child came to see me because they were having angry outbursts at home and school. Underneath that anger was something very different — fear, anxiety and a nervous system that never really felt safe. Rather than seeing them as a 'naughty child', we helped them understand how their brain worked, using a Guard Dog analogy — their brain was trying to protect them, even when it got things wrong. Using EFT, gentle relaxation, guided imagery, sound, movement and body-based techniques, they learnt to regulate their emotions instead of being controlled by them. The result wasn't perfection — it was confidence, calmer days, happier relationships and a child who finally realised there was never anything wrong with who they were.

02

Finding Life After Loss

An older gentleman came to see me after losing the love of his life. His grief was so overwhelming that he questioned whether life was worth living anymore.

An older gentleman came to see me after losing the love of his life. His grief was so overwhelming that he questioned whether life was worth living anymore. Together we created space for both sadness and love. Using Matrix Reimprinting alongside therapeutic imagery, we explored his memories and found new ways to stay connected to the love he still carried rather than only the pain of losing it. Slowly, the tears became stories, the loneliness became gratitude, and he found purpose again.

A Teenager Searching for Belonging

A teenage boy came to see me after reaching one of the darkest moments of his life. He was struggling with his identity, had become involved with drugs and unhealthy friendships, and couldn't see a future worth living.

A teenage boy came to see me after reaching one of the darkest moments of his life. He was struggling with his identity, had become involved with drugs and unhealthy friendships, and couldn't see a future worth living. Instead of focusing only on what had gone wrong, we explored who he wanted to become — identity, values, purpose and future goals. One of the biggest breakthroughs came when he realised that belonging doesn't start with finding the right group — it starts with belonging to yourself. As his confidence grew, so did his vision for his future.

04

Helping Confidence Grow

A teenage girl came to see me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, low confidence and the pressures of school. She had begun trying to control life through food, because everything else felt out of control.

A teenage girl came to see me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, low confidence and the pressures of school. She had begun trying to control life through food because everything else felt out of control. We worked on calming her nervous system first, then explored confidence, self-worth and the stories she'd been telling herself. Using timelines, future visualisation, practical daily tools and celebrating every small success, she gradually rebuilt trust in herself. She didn't become someone different — she simply rediscovered the person she'd always been.

Belonging doesn't start with finding the right group. It starts with belonging to yourself.

Rediscovering Herself

A wonderful mum came to see me feeling exhausted. Her children were growing up, menopause was bringing unexpected challenges, and she'd forgotten who she was outside of looking after everyone else.

A wonderful mum came to see me feeling exhausted. Her children were growing up, menopause was bringing unexpected challenges and she'd forgotten who she was outside of looking after everyone else. We combined Havening, EFT, hypnosis, relaxation and practical conversations about sleep, movement, nutrition and hormones, working alongside other healthcare professionals where needed. Little by little she stopped simply surviving and started making time for herself again.

06

Business Starts in the Mind

A successful businessman came to see me because his business had reached a point where he felt stuck. The problems weren't really about business — they were about patterns he'd carried for years.

A successful businessman came to see me because his business had reached a point where he felt stuck. The problems weren't really about business — they were about patterns he'd carried for years. Together we explored old relationships, limiting beliefs and experiences that were quietly influencing his leadership, and recognised traits of ADHD, introducing strategies that worked with his brain instead of against it. By combining coaching with therapeutic work, he gained clarity, confidence and a renewed vision for both his business and his life.

Rebuilding From the Ground Up

One client came with a lifetime of childhood trauma. Their foundations had been built on fear rather than safety, leaving them constantly in survival mode.

One client came with a lifetime of childhood trauma. Their foundations had been built on fear rather than safety, leaving them constantly in survival mode. Healing wasn't about one technique — it was about building something new: understanding the nervous system, re-parenting, creating routines, processing trauma and learning that they deserved kindness. We used a blend of approaches including EFT, NLP, Matrix Reimprinting, Havening, hypnosis, sound and coaching, always working at a pace that felt safe.

You Don't Have to Be Unwell to Grow

Not everyone comes because they're struggling. One lovely young woman came simply because she wanted to understand herself better — to manage stress, deepen her self‑awareness and become the very best version of herself.

Not everyone comes because they're struggling. One lovely young woman came simply because she wanted to understand herself better — to manage stress, deepen her self-awareness and become the very best version of herself. Together we explored relaxation, mindfulness, sound healing, Reiki, brain training, visualisation and practical tools she could use every day. You don't have to wait until you're broken to invest in yourself — growth isn't just about healing, it's about becoming who you're capable of being.
